Our Mission

To promote, correlate, and coordinate the efforts of all Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Areas in California. The Association Provides a Position of Effective Leadership among the many trade associations, citizens groups, and government entities who share an interest in the proper development and use of the finite and regenerative resources within the RC&Ds of this Association.

Joint Annual Conference
November 18-22, 2008 - Riverside, CA

The California Associations of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD), and Resource Conservation and Development Councils (CARC&DC) are partnering to host a joint Annual Conference in Riverside November 18th through the 22nd. This is an opportunity to attend the annual conferences for both organizations, without the time and expense of two separate conferences.

Association Profile

CARC&DC is an association of independent Resource Conservation and Development (RC&Ds) Councils and steering groups within California. Its members partner together to help forward CARC&DC's mission and to provide self help to the Association membership.

A strong relationship with outside agencies, trade associations, for profit and not for profit organizations exists to help stabilize and nurture the membership.

Membership in CARC&DC consist of existing (authorized) and potential (non-authorized) RC&Ds in California. Below list the current Association members.
